4 Tees That Give Back To Everytown
Yesterday, nine kids and one teacher were killed. Another ten were injured while attending school. As CNN reported, "Students at Santa Fe High School, not far from Houston in southeastern Texas, scrambled for safety after they heard shots just after class began Friday morning."
Just in 2018 alone there have been ten school shootings where 32 students and teachers were killed.
I remember the first school shooting I was able to see in real-time and comprehend. It was my 15th birthday. I was sitting in my AP biology class when we heard the news: there was an active shooter on the Virginia Tech campus.
That day haunts me. And every year has gotten worse and more dangerous for students in school — a place where all they should be worried about is getting an A, if that girl is going to text them back and whether or not they should have the chicken patties for lunch.
If you want to make a change, I encourage you to donate to Everytown. Even $5 helps... truly.
But, I'm a firm believer that change doesn't stop there. Donate through your fashion choices, too.
Together we can change the world one purchase at a time.
If lawmakers won't, then we will.
Here are four tees that give back to Everytown, a movement of Americans working together to end gun violence and build safer communities.
